abstract = {Mitral valve repair is the gold standard for mitral valve regurgitation. Minimally invasive approaches are established even in complex pathology like Barlow’s syndrome. A Barlow valve is considered difficult to repair, a comprehensive review concerning various successful repair techniques is given. The complex pathophysiology of a subgroup of patients presenting with functional prolapse is described and a simple repair strategy is highlighted. In the video a fully endoscopic mitral valve repair of a Barlow valve with functional prolapse is demonstrated.},
