The special issue, guest edited by Dr. Piergiorgio Solli and Dr. Luca Bertolaccini, primarily focuses on the viability of a minimally invasive approach in carefully selected patients with advanced lung cancer. On the other hand, it aims to provide comprehensive surgical techniques about VATS for extended Lung Cancer Disease to thoracic surgeons all around the world, which we hope will also be beneficial to the growth of young surgeons.
