We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Visualized Surgery (JOVS) has achieved its 2025 CiteScore: 0.8. JOVS ranks as follows across various categories: 426 out of 597 journals in the Surgery category, 1312 out of 1698 in Education, and 380 out of 541 in Communication. This milestone underscores our ongoing commitment to publishing impactful research in the field.

Journal of Visualized Surgery is accepted for indexing in PubMed/PubMed Central (PMC)

We are delighted to announce that Journal of Visualized Surgery has been accepted for indexing by PubMed/PubMed Central (PMC), a free digital archive database of full-text journal literature in biomedical and life sciences. All articles published since 2024, beginning with Vol 1, will be fully indexed in PMC and accessible via PubMed, a search engine/database of biomedical citations and abstracts.

JOVS Annual Report (2025)

Greetings from Drs. Alan Sihoe and Marco Scarci and Editorial Office of Journal of Visualized Surgery (JOVS)!

Till Dec. 31, 2025, JOVS has a total of 46 members on board, from 13 countries. With joint effort and support, JOVS published 30 articles with 12 Surgical Techniques and 7 Case Reports. Corresponding Authors came from 8 countries, mostly from the Italy, USA, Japan, and UK. According to Google Analytics, all together 78,786 readers visited the website with 164,346 pageviews in 2025.
