Greetings from Drs. Alan Sihoe and Marco Scarci and Editorial Office of Journal of Visualized Surgery (JOVS)!

Till Dec. 31, 2025, JOVS has a total of 46 members on board, from 13 countries. With joint effort and support, JOVS published 30 articles with 12 Surgical Techniques and 7 Case Reports. Corresponding Authors came from 8 countries, mostly from the Italy, USA, Japan, and UK. According to Google Analytics, all together 78,786 readers visited the website with 164,346 pageviews in 2025. AME and Wolters Kluwer aim to expand access to global medical research through new collaboration

October 2, 2025 — Wolters Kluwer Health announced a new collaboration with AME Publishing Company, an Open Access publisher specializing in medical journals and books, headquartered in Hong Kong, China.

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Visualized Surgery (JOVS) has attained its first impact factor for the 2024 citation year: 0.4.

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Visualized Surgery (JOVS) has achieved its 2024 CiteScore: 0.7. JOVS ranks as follows across various categories: 432 out of 568 journals in the Communication category, 1310 out of 1620 in Education, and 378 out of 535 in Communication. This milestone underscores our ongoing commitment to publishing impactful research in the field.
