Dr Yaxing Shen, a thoracic surgeon graduated from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, completed his resident training in the Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University. As an attending surgeon, he was dedicated to the surgical affairs in an academic style. He was the keynote speaker of the world’s top3 congresses of thoracic surgery (AATS,STS and ESTS) in 2013 and will be the speaker of that in 2014. He has published 4 articles in SCI/SCI-E journals such as Journal of the American College of Surgeons, Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery and BMC Surgery. His research interests include minimally invasive surgery and esophageal cancer.
